They can trick you / swindle you / rip you off They can be rude at times The car isnt clean (understatement of the century ;) They are more expensive You dont know a thing about the taxi driver They dont necessary declare their earnings
Uber / Ola Affordable option The drivers ratings / driving history are available They cant refuse to drive you because the service has been approved beforehand They give you water and an umbrella, should you need one They are always well dressed You dont need cash (and the driver doesnt either, which makes the whole process safer for both parties) The very existence of these services will prompt normal taxi drivers to improve the quality of their service Not available in small and medium-sized cities You have to wait for a bit longer They arent officially vetted What happens if you have an accident? Insurance? Unfair competition drives prices down e- drivers have to drive more hours for the same income safety concerns
