Introduction to UCMAS UCMAS (India) Pvt. Ltd., was established in the year 1999 in the month  of  September.  With  its  corporate  office  located  at  Anna  Nagar, Chennai-600 040, UCMAS started its Indian operations.  Bringing the Concept to India as a National Franchiser, UCMAS INDIA took the responsibility of spreading the concept in the entire country to benefit the children across all parts.  Ever since inception, the company grew steadily appointing franchises not only in Chennai but also outside the city  in various district locations. Today, UCMAS has centers not only in the entire state of Tamil Nadu but spread to other states adjoining and far off.  Major Cities like Bangalore, Hyderabad, Trivandrum, Cochin, Mumbai, Baroda, New Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh have dedicated centers enrolling hundreds of children. UCMAS a Global Organization U C MAS took its roots in Malaysia and with the collaboration of Zhusuan Association, China, constantly rose with increased representation in different countries. UCMAS Certified at Malaysia U C MAS  meets  the  requirements  of  ISO  9001 : 2000  certified  at  Malaysia. Arithmetic using Abacus Numbers are represented in Abacus as Beads and positions. Hence in  Arithmetic computation using abacus, numbers are converted into bead images. Bead images are registered as mental images
Arithmetic using Physical Abacus Arithmetic functions are done using abacus  moving beads on rods which have specific values  Abacus based Arithmetic functions  calculations thereof enhance  Concentration  levels. Children form an image of the Abacus and do sums mentally. Calculations done with Abacus, using the fingers of both the hands stimulate the brain  both the Right and Left Brain. Right Brain is the Seat of Intelligence and the Left Brain is the store house of information and knowledge. Right Brain stimulation makes the child develop the faculties of brain such as Visualization, Imagination, Creativity and the related skills.  Left brain and Right Brain Co-ordinated working results in Whole Brain Development. Whole brain Development enables the children excel in their studies, and real-life situations.
Mental Arithmetic by Image of Abacus After a period of 6  9 months of vigorous practice on Arithmetic calculations using physical Abacus, the child will be able to do Mental Arithmetic by image of Abacus. Image of Abacus is nothing but Mental Abacus / imagined abacus. Children do calculations mentally using mental abacus (imagined abacus).  Calculation speed increases at least FOUR-fold. Mental Arithmetic by image of Abacus is done  by children with high speed and accuracy levels. Extreme levels of Concentration & perfect Visualization would result in high speed and accurate calculations.  Concentration and Visualization in children make them very good in their studies and excellent in Image memory. Listening skills of children zoom to high quality levels on account of the program inputs.
Abacus  Chinese invented about 2000 years ago.  Universally used Manual gadget for solving Arithmetic Functions. Does not require any power to operate. Frame. Bar - Pointer Rods Upper Beads Lower Beads Each  rod has one Upper bead and four Lower beads The abacus gets Value only when bead / beads touch the bar The value of one Upper bead is five The value of each Lower bead is one The minimum value in a rod is zero & The maximum value in a rod is nine When the Beads are moved towards the Bar, the value of Abacus increases and vice versa.油

Mental Calculation The mental calculation is defined as calculation of number conception and the way of imaging the abacus calculation in brain is called as the mental arithmetic by image of abacus.  In recent years we have been discussing and studying the mental arithmetic by image of abacus which is more advantageous than other skills in the light of the result of examination. The mental arithmetic by image of abacus means that we calculate on the abacus in our brain without seeing the  Physical ABACUS
Mental Calculation There is no limit to the potential of the Human Brain. Human Brain contains  15,000,000,000 cells Can store the information of one quadrillion  I.e., 1 followed by 12 zeros, equal to nearly  10,000 time as many as 1,500,000 Volumes in the  National Library of America. Everyday the U C MAS Child practices in abacus for minimum 500 Images or Pictures. In 3 levels training the U C MAS child would have practiced more than 1.4 lacs Images or Pictures. In 8 levels. More than 4 lacs Images or Pictures. The images gone into memory cells do not confine to arithmetic only. The enhanced memory is for all subjects leading to all-round academic excellence. General Guidelines for Parents Help your child to be punctual in attending classes.  Help and guide your child to wear the U C MAS T-shirt in all class.  Help and guide your child not to miss a single class.  Always encourage the child to perform well.  Feel the daily home practice given to child is only to enhance the imaging skill of the child.  Help  your child  to  complete  the  daily  home  practice  in  about  10  15 minutes willingly.  Advise the child not to be playful in the classes.  Please do not interfere with the Course Instructors instructions.  Please be advised that parents are not permitted to sit inside the  class room.  Please get to know the progress of the wards at least once a month.
Student Attendence Attendance must, if classes are missed, learning is difficult.  Daily Practice essential.  Speed & Accuracy, two important aspects of facing any Competition.  Competition is a part of todays life.  Preparing for Competition is a part of every days life.  Prepare your child for Competition.

With its corporate office located at Anna Nagar, Chennai-600 040, UCMAS started its Indian operations. Arithmetic using Physical Abacus Arithmetic functions are done using abacus moving beads on rods which have specific values Abacus based Arithmetic functions calculations thereof enhance Concentration levels. Children form an image of the Abacus and do sums mentally. Calculations done with Abacus, using the fingers of both the hands stimulate the brain both the Right and Left Brain.   • 34. General Guidelines for Parents Help your child to be punctual in attending classes. Help and guide your child to wear the U C MAS T-shirt in all class. Help and guide your child not to miss a single class. Always encourage the child to perform well. Feel the daily home practice given to child is only to enhance the imaging skill of the child. Help your child to complete the daily home practice in about 10 15 minutes willingly. Advise the child not to be playful in the classes. Please do not interfere with the Course Instructors instructions. Please be advised that parents are not permitted to sit inside the class room. Please get to know the progress of the wards at least once a month.
