Coldplay is a British rock band formed in 1996 consisting of Jonny buckland, chris martin, Will champion, and Guy berruman. They achieved worldwide fame with their 2000 single "Yellow" followed by their debut album Parachutes that same year, which was nominated for a Mercury Prize. Some of their famous albums include A Rush of Blood to the Head and Viva la vida Or Death and All His Friends. Coldplay has received over 50 awards from over 150 nominations, including multiple Brit Awards for Best British Album and Group, and seven Grammy Awards.
