The UMF Cloud Pilot is a community cloud for UK education delivered by Eduserv, a nonprofit IT services company. It provides infrastructure as a service including compute, storage, and networking resources. The cloud is hosted in Eduserv's secure datacenter in Swindon, UK and integrated with the JANET network. Resources will include over 1,500 processor cores and 10 petabytes of storage. Pricing will be offered via pay-as-you-go and reserved virtual datacenter models starting in early 2012.
