Teachers' perspectives on problems, needs and effective youth engagement strategies. The document discusses teachers training programs in Pakistan including an in-service training program and pre-service training program conducted by GIZ/GFA with over 10000 trainings distributed among provinces. It also discusses a B.Ed Tech study program offered in collaboration with universities. Key issues identified are the lack of skill and hands-on training for teachers, insufficient linkage to industry resulting in outdated skills, and lack of incentives for knowledge and skill upgrading. Recommendations include introducing a reward system for teachers, providing industry contacts, establishing a conducive training environment, and providing career counseling training.
