18. It takes energy to move your muscles. But
did you know it also takes a lot of calories to
power your brain? The brain’s billions cells are
busy all the time. Run loe on fuel and they are
the first to suffer. You feel tired and sluggish,
and you have trouble concentrating.
First thing in the morning, your brain is truly
starving. That’s why it is so important to eat
right away. Kids who jump-start their brains
with breakfast do better at math and language
exercises. Breakfast eaters also seem to have
sharper memories and handle new information
better.
