Community Technology Access (CTA) Programme
                                by Robyn Fisher
Today, more than 43 million people have been forcibly displaced by
war, conflict, and human rights abuses.
Theyve lost their homes, their livelihoods, and their families.
It may be many years, if ever, before they can return home.
Without protection from their government, they face life-threatening
challenges and depend on others for their survival.
Whether its a man-made or natural disaster, UNHCR can respond with
trained staff anywhere in the world within 72 hours serving 500K people
UNHCR also helps rebuild their futures. With support from business
leaders, we can restore hope and dignity to millions of displaced people.
For 60 years, UNHCR has enabled tens of millions of people to
restart their lives.

UNHCR leverages innovation to better protect refugees.
UNHCRs CTA Programme
Entire generations are growing up in a refugee camp, living and learning
there for 10 years or more.
The potential of these young minds should not be lost.
How can we make them self-sufficient, and better prepare them to
rebuild their own society, or resettle into the developed world?
UNHCRs Community Technology Access (CTA) Programme aims to
enhance the education, employability, and empowerment of refugees.
