Unilever Brazil decided to measure and improve its corporate culture in 2008. An initial culture assessment in 2008 found high entropy and limitations in key values among senior leadership. A second assessment in 2009 after focusing on culture showed improved results, including lower entropy, higher customer service metrics, and increased revenue growth. Regular culture measurement using affordable and comprehensive tools was found to provide credible insights and support positive cultural and business changes.
