This entailed assessing the damage to the paint, prepping the spot to be repainted, mixing the paint and spraying the paint to blend with the surrounding area that was not damaged. Buffing out the newly repaired area to blend with the rest of the paint on the car. 7/2012 11/2012 : Self-Employed. Painting cars in my shop at home. 5/2012 7/2012 : Maaco Collision Center, 350 N. - 2. out to work at BMW. Duties were to do final inspection right before the cars were loaded onto the train to be shipped out for sale. Paint defects were judged to be either buffed out right there on the line or if they were to severe they would be pulled and sent back to spot repair. I was then transferred to spot repair where I would fix any damage before shipping was completed. 2/2011 8/2011 : Hilton Displays, 125 Hillside Drive, Greenville SC., 29607. Commercial sign painter.
