Autocool is an Egyptian-owned company with two plants located 45 km from Cairo that manufactures automotive air conditioners and refrigeration units. It has received several quality certifications and exports its products to several European and Middle Eastern countries. Autocool produces heat exchangers and air conditioning systems for buses, trucks, and original equipment manufacturers. It also operates service centers in Cairo that install and repair automotive air conditioners.

- 2. In Brief Autocool is a share holding company that is 100% Egyptian owned. The plant is just 35 km away from Cairo International Airport and is connected to all major ports via a modern network of roads. Egypt

- 4. Service Centers Diavia Egypt, the sister company, installs, services and repairs automotive air conditioners and refrigeration units for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. It also runs a distribution network for A/C spare parts. The four centers are located in central areas in Cairo for the clients convenience.

- 6. Certification Autocool maintains high quality in all production stages and has been awarded many prestigious quality certificates: ISO 9002 since 1996 QS 9000 since 1999 ISO 14001 since 2001 ISO 9001:2000 since 2001 ISOTS 16949
- 7. Exports Although Autocools Export Department was created in 2002, it has achieved a lot since and is still under expansion. Autocool exports aluminum parallel flow condensers, both universal and replacement parts, tube & fin condensers, evaporators and heaters. Autocool also produces custom-designed heat exchangers.

- 9. OE Division Autocool established its OE division in 1993. It is currently working on a single shift basis but it is capable of rapid expansion to meet any growth trends in the market.

- 14. Bus Air Conditioning Autocool has developed roof top & integrated A/C systems ranging from 14 passenger vans up to 55 passenger buses. Autocool also produces replacements, bus A/C condensers and evaporators.
- 15. Transport Refrigeration Transport refrigeration has been a great success for Autocool over the years. In 2006 Autocool signed a partnership agreement with BOCK compressors to manufacture condensing units under the brand name BOCK Frigocool. Now known as Frigocool, its condensing units are custom built to the customers preference offering most component makes.
- 16. R & D Division Autocool is constantly updating and developing research in its field to ensure the highest level of quality goods and integrating these results into the manufacturing process. Enabling the facilitation of the clients manufacturing experience; from component selection, suggesting alternatives to cost reduction programs, ensuring a true partnership with all customers.
