1. Prepare a USB or microSD card formatted to FAT32 and download update files to it from an extracted zip folder, including azplay_droid_fw.zip, unlock_autoscript, aml_autoscript, recovery.img, and factory_update_param.aml. 2. With the USB or microSD inserted, power off the set top box and hold the reset button while powering back on to initiate the automatic firmware upgrade process. 3. Release the reset button once the upgrade progress is shown on the TV and wait for the set top box to complete upgrading and reset itself.
Upgrade
- 1. HOW TO UPGRADE - AZPLAY DROID 1. Prepare USB or microSD for updating stb box to new Firmware , formated in FAT32. 2. Download Azplay_droid.zip. 3. Extract the file you downloaded. 4. Enter inside extracted folder, you should see files/folders as in below picture. 5. Select "azplay_droid_fw.zip" "unlock_autoscript" "aml_autoscript" and "recovery.img" files and copy to allready prepared USB or microSD.
- 2. 6. Go back where you extracted the file and enter "USB" or "mSD" folder depending from what disk you are updating Firmware. 7. Copy "factory_update_param.aml" file to USB or microSD. 8. After finish you will have 5 files on USB or microSD as in below picture. 9. Power off stb-box over power cord and put allready prepared USB or microSD with the files in the slot. 10. Press and hold "reset" button on stb-box. 11. Power on stb-box with power cord and wait till you get Upgrade progress on TV and release "reset" button you are holding. 12. Wait till stb-box finish upgrade and reset automatic.
