While the percentage of urban poor has declined from 8.7% to 3.6%, urban poverty can cause issues like unemployment, lack of education, crime, and poor health. Reducing urban poverty requires actions like increasing salaries, job opportunities, and innovative education policies. Overall, addressing the root causes of urban poverty can improve quality of life.

components, measured by non-food and food Poverty Line Income
(PLI).

poverty in Malaysia especially in the city. for example the
increase of salary, subsidy, augment employment
opportunities and so on. I hope the people of Malaysia
are aware of the evils of poverty to the very high and
changed for the better.
