This document contains statistics from 2010 to 2013 on the number of households receiving SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits, the percentage of the US population on SNAP, unemployment rates in the US, and a comparison of growth in SNAP and declines in unemployment. The number of households on SNAP increased from around 14.5% of the population in 2010 to around 15.5% in 2013, while unemployment decreased from around 10% to below 8% over the same period.
