This document summarizes a wayfinding and usability study conducted at the University of Michigan Library. The study used design thinking methods like contextual inquiry, user walkthroughs, and an affinity wall to analyze how users navigate the library. Key findings included that library jargon confused users and signs/maps did not adequately help users find materials. Recommendations included improving signs, maps, and having librarians available to help interpret systems for users.
