Videoconferencing, also known as interactive television or ITV, allows for live video connections between two or more locations for communication. It uses IP or ISDN networks and special equipment. At BTC, videoconferencing has been used in radiologic technology programs since 1997 to collaborate with colleagues at other institutions and conduct meetings between groups based at different locations. To moderate a videoconference, you should schedule in advance, gather contact information, communicate details to participants, arrive early, do a role call and sound check, and troubleshoot any issues during the call.
