Vietnam has developed its stock market over the past 20 years, with two main exchanges now operating. However, the market still faces some challenges, including a lack of timely and transparent information disclosure from listed companies, a shortage of experienced stock market professionals, and individual investors often making decisions based on crowd behavior rather than fundamentals. To address these issues, Vietnam is working to strengthen information regulations, expand stock market education programs, and increase independent research to help guide investors. Overall, Vietnam's stock market is still young but seen as having long-term potential for investors.

In 2009, HNX found and punished 38 companies and 155 major stockholders violating information announcement. PROBLEMS & SOLUTIONS Labor in Vietnam stock market : lack and weakness Labor thirst, especially, professional labor : a big difficulty for many security companies. The stock staffs still lack of management skills, professional and experience Only 2744 staffs have certificate of stock business.
