The Vineyard Hotel & Spa was originally built in 1799 and has been converted into a world-class hotel. It has 6 acres of indigenous gardens and offers various room types including courtyard facing rooms, mountain facing rooms, junior suites, and garden cottages. The hotel has two pools, a health and fitness center, Angsana Spa, and a conference center that can accommodate up to 280 guests. The hotel is committed to environmental sustainability and social responsibility initiatives in the local community.

gardens _____________________________________________________________________________ The Vineyard Hotel & Spa drive has been to keep the garden as indigenous as possible and in the last four years the garden team has been actively working towards this goal. All new planting is indigenous and only organic compost is used. No harmful chemicals are used in the garden.

Kids of the Cape helps with local community programmes through a guest contribution of R2 a night. We are proud to support South African Guide Dogs Association of the Blind. Ons Plek, or A Place for Us, is a project which provides shelter for street children. Ons Plek further assists in resettling children into their respective communities. The Homestead aims to help street children reconstruct their shattered lives, their families and grow towards competence and self confidence in their lives.
