Ando Hiroshige was one of the most famous Ukiyo-E artists from Japan who specialized in landscape paintings during the Edo period. He is best known for his series "Fifty-Three Stages of the Tokaido" which depicted scenes along the old imperial highway from Edo to Kyoto.
