A look at volcanoes across the globe

 Using Google Earth we will look at different volcanoes across the world. We will 
briefly look at seven before groups will break off and look more deeply at a specific 
one. 
 They will explore 
 Pictures 
 Information 
 other landmarks near the area 
 Other facts about the volcano (ex. When it erupted if it has) 
 And other specific information stated in the slide
Specific information to research about this volcano: recent information about the eruption currently 
happening.
Specific information to research about this volcano: photos of the volcano from previous explosions.
Specific information to research about this volcano: since this volcano is so close to home, look up how 
it affected surrounding areas.
Specific information to research about this volcano: look at other pictures from this national park.
Specific information to research about this volcano: look at surrounding cities and their attractions.
Specific information to research about this volcano: look up climate and weather in this area.
 Each group will be given a specific volcano and using Google Earth and other 
necessary websites look up:
