Compelling content
You know, if you have content, if you're a company or a party that's
producing content, that I want, I'm going to go get it whether it's on
YouTube, or whether it's an email, I'll open it, I'll find it. If you're just out
there putting out trash, no-one's going to open it up, and everybody will
figure out its trash.
So there's to be a premium on authenticity on providing content that
people really want to know and find information about. Just you're not
selling is not going to work. Just out there saying we're number one, we're
number one, here's another email, we're number one, join up. It's not going
to work. It's got to be compelling. That's the big difference here. The
companies and industries that are used to running a cool ad and telling
you 'Look you gotta try us', that is not going to work and so its gotta be
when a friend of yours says 'You've really got to look at this', you're going
to go click on the link and you're really going to look at it. And either you're
going to say, 'Why did he waste my time?' or you're going to say to some
of your friends, 'You've really got to look at this'.
