The document is an instructional tutorial for prospective foster/adoptive parents. It introduces some key terms and concepts through a series of knowledge checks about a video featuring the Hogue family discussing their experiences with foster care and adoption. The tutorial is meant to familiarize potential parents with PS-MAPP (Permanence & Safety Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) training, which aims to provide information and assess individuals' and families' suitability and commitment to the foster/adoptive parent role. The goal is to recruit permanent, safe homes and support networks for children in the foster system.
