We the Alumnae December2014 Christmas Messages
1. DECEMBER 2014
Christmas is the ideal time for celebration and enjoyment but in the midst
of all the festivities, I hope we take pause to remember the true reason for
Christmas. It is my fervent prayer that we too may share in the ¡°songs of the
angels, the gladness of the shepherds, and the worship of the wise men¡± in
praising HE who was born to save us.
I wish you and your loved ones the peace, joy, and love that the Messiah
has bestowed on us. May your holidays be a time of giving and sharing, a season of
warmth and love, and an occasion for loving and forgiving.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to one and all!

2. Trust that if Jesus is with you, so is the Father and the Holy Spirit very much present in your life. And this is my
wish for you this Christmas: May the Holy Triune God who lives in your heart, give you the grace to be often
conscious of the Indwelling Presence within you, animating you, energizing you, loving you unconditionally and
making you a channel of His Grace and Blessing, especially of His Mercy and Compassion for others particularly
the poor in our midst.
And that is precisely what our dear Holy Father, Pope Francis is asking of us, to be channels of Jesus' Compassion
and Mercy especially to the poor. During the Year of the Laity that just ended last week, we were challenged:
"Called to be saints; Sent forth as heroes." Let us dare to be BRAVE and be for others what JESUS wants us to be.
Let us search our hearts for the answer.
Dahil Siya ay naki-isa sa atin, isang Mapagpalayang Pasko!
Lovingly,
Sister Victricia, S.Sp.S.
Dear Fellow Alumnae,
We are in a time of waiting-joyful, expectant waiting for JESUS, our Emmanuel and for His
direct representative, Pope Francis, His Heart and His Voice today.
Our Jesus is Emmanuel, God-with-us. Today and everyday of your life, may His assurance ring
loud and clear in your heart: "I am with you ALWAYS, in every circumstance, every moment of
your life." May you hear that assurance from deep within especially when you need Him most.
