Breast cancer affects many women each year, but lives can be saved through early detection and medical advances. Early detection methods like monthly self-exams, annual clinical exams starting at age 40, mammograms, and genetic testing can find breast cancer at its earliest and most treatable stages. While breast cancer risk can be lowered through diet, exercise and not smoking, supporting those diagnosed through donations, product purchases, and community events can help in the fight against this disease.
