I got XCode installed, which I opened once or twice, but it was real stumbling block, slow progress. Did I really need to learn a new language and learn to use another editor?

• #31: Some things to keep in mind. It’s still beta, a 0.7 version, some things in their API may still change You still need a Mac though, with XCode and the iPhone SDK installed, which are all free. For Android you need to install that free SDK too. But to get your app on your iPhone for testing and into the App store, you still need to pay for the Apple iPhone Developer Program, a 119$ Australian, per year. And don’t expect to go build fancy 3D and AR apps just yet. But still hope you’re inspired to try it out yourself?
