I really like this idea of overlapping
images on a static colour back-
ground which is different for each
section, I think its really welcoming
and engaging for the viewer and
its enjoyable to see and read.
I quite like the business of these websites even though Im not intending on
creating a website this busy I think they show quite well what you can do with a
lot of content in terms of layout and styling. I really like the geometric consider-
ation and it makes it look really thought out and professional.
These layouts are bit more
simple but are still pretty full
with content, there is a clear
grid system in all of them. I
really like how all of these
webistes have a screen of
just an image and the
brandng, I think thats a
really nice welcome to the
viewer. This is something I
would quite like to use in
my design.
I think the colour schemes
on these websites are very
considered and usually use
a limited pallete or use
varying shades of one
colour which is also quite
weloming and can be
applied with different
colours to apply to the
atmosphere that you would
like to portray, I also like
how its displayed not juse in
the website components
but also the imagery.
I also like how this image is blurred behind so it really focuses your attention on the brand-
ing. It also give a professional look behind it. I found with my website research that this was
a common thing to do recently but that could also be appealing to the viewer as it gives a
modern feel.
I really like this website (right) I think it is
realy quirky and displays a lot fo layout
consideration and also visual awareness,
although its busy the placement of the
elements is well considered which makes
this website look very well done however
could easily look messy if not done well.
(LEFT) I like with this website that the
image in the background is covered by text
purposely with the intent to distort the
image. I think it shows that the background
image contributes in a subtle way however
can achieve a great looking website just by
its composition and colour which is an
important thing to consider when im taking
my pictures for my webiste.
