This weekly progress report discusses the design of a toaster by an engineering team. They are considering whether to use a microcontroller to automatically open the toaster, but there are concerns it could be damaged by the heat. Test results of a circuit using a microcontroller were unsatisfactory. The team needs to redesign the structure so that any additional components will fit within the original design. Next week they will focus on finalizing the circuit design and ensuring all information is included.

Weekly Progress
This week me and my friends in the design cycle. The structural design of the toaster, they can be
opened automatically by a spring at the back of the toaster. And the cycle is now trying to decide
whether to use the micro-controller or not. Because our space is limited. Using a microcontroller to
save space in the layout. It has the disadvantage that the hot toaster. Microcontroller may be
damaged. And from the circuit to test the results are not satisfactory. It also does not meet the
required conditions.

Engineering Analysis
Strong Point
Workable And better performance. The price is not much different.
Week Point
Therefore, the structure is not designed to have a device that may not fit the original structure.
Next Week Job
The design and the information included in the circuit.
