Hermes can be used to identify journal code information by entering the journal name in the journal field and selecting the checkbox next to the name. Tracing in Hermes allows finding control numbers and determining if a journal is still in workflow if it lacks a transfer release date in the last column. Running a specified query in TOAD with the serial code shows the number of post-release corrections needed, and the weekly serial corrections list should be sent to the listed parties.
