During the term you will make some writing activities at home. I will consider them within the TEACHER CRITERIA results Each term you will make an exam, without dictionary, related with the units yu have studied and in which you will develop the concepts acquired during the units Usually 80-100 words ( I will consider just those words in English)
This year you will make a reading exam in which you will have to answer to several questions related with a text. Definitions, vocabulary, comprehension, summary there can be many different questions about the text
You will listen a recording Twice/Two times , sometimes, if it is necessary I will play it once more You will answer to some questions. True/false Fill the gaps Write the correct words Chose the correct word.
Project evaluation Oral exams and involvement and participation in the classroom
INSTRUCTIONS Groups of 4 you have to role play a realistic communicative situation in which you speak only English. Duration: 10 minutes per group. TITLE MOST IMPORTANT CITIES IN THE WORLD Things to include in: Structures to greet and meet people Usually related to units contents , grammar, vocabulary The presentation must be: Well organized. All of the members have to work on it. (Collaborative work) Spoken in good English without reading (You can use some notes) Realistic, original and creative.
Attitude Positive behaviour within the classroom Effort Interest for the subject Tasks Notebook Workbook Activities Writings as homeworks Photocopies .
Your notebook must contain these parts: Unit number and title of the unit Unit aims Key phrases . Workbook (TRANSLATED) Vocabulary list At the end of each unit in the workbook (TRANSLATED) Grammar explanations Your own explanations (You have a Grammar Bank in your Workbook Exercises From your studentbook Other (songs, writings, photocopies...)
