BOD POD is an Air Displacement Plethysmograph (ADP) that uses
whole body densitometry to determine body composition (fat vs. lean).
Similar in principle to underwater weighing and measures body mass
(weight) using a very precise scale, and volume by sitting inside the
BOD POD.
Fitness Sub-Vo2 Max Fitness Assessment - VO2 max is the
measurement of the maximum amount of oxygen that an individual can
utilize during intense, or maximal exercise. It is measured as milliliters of
oxygen used in one minute per kilogram of body weight (ml/kg/min). It is
one factor that may help determine an athlete's capacity to perform
sustained exercise.
Basal Metabolic Assessment - The Resting Metabolic Rate test (RMR)
determines the amount of energy (calories) your body is using at rest.
This measurement is made by analyzing the amount of oxygen your
body uses and the amount of carbon dioxide your body produces.
 Bio-feedback - During a biofeedback session, a therapist attaches
electrical sensors to different parts of your body. These sensors monitor
your body's physiological state, such as brain waves, skin temperature,
muscle tension, heart rate and breathing. In turn, this can help the
condition for which you sought treatment.
