Westlife won numerous awards in their early career in the late 1990s and early 2000s for being the best new act, including Best New Band at the Smash Hits Pollwinners Party in 1998. They frequently won awards for best Irish pop act and best Irish album. Westlife also won many awards for best selling singles and albums in both Ireland and the UK, cementing their status as one of the most successful boy bands internationally.

BSB sebanyak berita TV membawakan lagu-lagu dari Boyzone ternyata puas dengan acara tersebut lokal menayangkan penampilan IOU. dan Backstreet masalah, walaupun lebih Sayangnya ada 1 Boys dihadapan IOU dan ternyata penampilan mereka itu dari bagus, namun suara Shane,mereka sudah 500perhatian Louish Waish, orang. Tapi Mark, menarik mempunyai tidak keluhan dengan ketiga dan Kian 1 cocok yaitu nama manager dari group band pop yang boyband lainnya. OlehJadi, mereka personil mereka. karena itu, paling sukses di Eropa (Boyzone) terpaksa dilakukan beberapa perubahan memutuskan mengganti boyband mereka menjadi IOU.

Dengan dirilisnya Westside sudah menjadi nama group band lain. Oleh single kedua If I Let You Go, Westlife menjadi karena itu, kelima cowok ini terpaksa harus mengganti boyband PERTAMA yang kedua single-nya menduduki nama boyband mereka yang keempat kalinya. Mereka posisi puncak di tangga lagu Inggris. Single ketiga, memilih nama WESTLIFE.
