The kai is the food that goes into the

The kai represents my strategies which are
part of my philosophy and give a form of
sustenance for my future students
They are; positive learning environment,
the ripple effect, overlapping, smooth
transitions, routines & protocols, eye
contact, signals, questions, withitness,
scanning and moving the space and
meeting in a circle
4. Iwi
Iwi means a tribe of people, and is
the overall goal for this whakatauki
The iwi represents my future
students and are the essence of my
kaupapa (topic)
Students are the recipients of what
I put into my rourou (food basket)
