Our Branches of the Military 際際滷show is a great way to introduce your students to the branches of the military. It is 10 slides long and gives a general overview of the Department of Defense along with images showing the Pentagon. Each branch is described, defined, and briefly summarized. I use this slideshow to guide students through filling out the graphic organizer. Students may want to research each branch to give a deeper explanation of the levels of power and training that participants go through. In that case, be sure to use the Branches of Military Project Book.
