A tech steward researches, selects, and coordinates technology for their community. They research the technology needs of the community as well as options to meet those needs. Tech stewards select appropriate technologies and coordinate acquisition and training to help community members learn to use the new technologies. The role requires an individual who is tech-literate, able to collaborate and teach others, and acts as a resource and trusted partner within the community.
