"Man [who is] born of woman Is of few days
and full of trouble. He comes forth like a
flower and fades away; He flees like a shadow
and does not continue.” - Job 14:1,2

 Who am I?
 Why am I here?
 Where am I going?

 Dust
◦ Gen 3:19 In the sweat of your face you shall eat
bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it
you were taken; For dust you [are], And to dust you
shall return.“
 Breath of God
◦ Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man [of] the
dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils
the breath of life; and man became a living being.

 What is called death?
◦ Jam 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
◦ Ecc 12:7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it
was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

 Fear God and Obey HIM
◦ Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole
matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For
this is man's all.
◦ Mat 16:26 "For what profit is it to a man if he gains
the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what
will a man give in exchange for his soul?

 1Jo 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in
the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of
the Father is not in him.
1Jo 2:16 For all that [is] in the world--the lust of
the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of
life--is not of the Father but is of the world.
1Jo 2:17 And the world is passing away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides
forever.

 Hbr 9:27 And as it is appointed for men to
die once, but after this the judgment
 How we will be judged?
◦ 2Cr 5:10 For we must all appear before the
judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive
the things [done] in the body, according to what he
has done, whether good or bad.

 Ecc 12:14 For God will bring every work into
judgment, Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil.
 Rom 14:12 So then each of us shall give
account of himself to God.

 2Th 1:8,9 in flaming fire taking vengeance on
those who do not know God, and on those
who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus
Christ. These shall be punished with
everlasting destruction from the presence of
the Lord and from the glory of His power
 Mat 10:28 "And do not fear those who kill the
body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear
Him who is able to destroy both soul and
body in hell.

 Jhn 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He
gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life.

 Gen 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in
Our image, according to Our likeness; let
them have dominion over the fish of the sea,
over the birds of the air, and over the cattle,
over all [fn] the earth and over every creeping
thing that creeps on the earth."
Gen 1:27 So God created man in His [own]
image; in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them.
