This document is a quiz about identifying landmarks and their locations from photos. It contains 10 photos of famous landmarks around the world like the Taj Mahal, Great Pyramid of Giza, and Statue of Liberty. For each photo, students are asked to name the landmark and country where it is located for a total of 20 possible points. The answers are then provided after each photo with the landmark name and city/country location.

1. What am I and where am I? (a) This is the Taj Mahal. (b) It is located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was built between 1632 and 1652 by the Mughal (Muslim) emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
2. What am I and where am I? (a) This is the Great Pyramid of Giza also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops. (b) It is located in El Giza, Egypt. It was built as a tomb for fourth dynasty Egyptian Pharaoh named Khufu over a 10 to 20-year period concluding around 2560 BCE. Initially at 146.5 metres (481 feet), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years.
