Vargesh and his childhood friend Keshav live in the village of Kashiganj. Vargesh's father suggests he join the Indian forces, which was unusual for their village. Vargesh's father gets approval from the village head Pratab Singh. On Vargesh's way to join the forces, he and Keshav hug and cry, as they have been close friends since childhood. Years later, Vargesh's pregnant wife Priyanka needs to be rushed to the hospital, but the armed forces mistake their cart for rebels and attack them. Vargesh and his childhood friend Keshav in Kashiganj It was one of those early mornings of summer; monsoon in its full song in the Village of Kashiganj.Vargesh wearing his fathers rain coat knocks the door of Keshavs house.Vargesh invites Keshav for fishing in the river. Keshav is a good friend of Vargesh. They often spend time playing around the village mud. These are summer holidays. They enjoy running behind the cattle or plugging mangoes to eat in their village. They are very well known for their friendship. Most of villagers identify them as Sota and Bada . Vargesh is extremely tall in comparison to his age . Keshav is short guy. Vargesh father is a poor farmer. Vargesh had grown up now. However, he must find away for his livelihood. Vargesh uncle who is very close to his father, suggests Vargesh that he can try to join in Indian force. His height and appearance can be added advantage for joining the force. It was quiet new for someone joining force from Kashiganj. The villagers abide by the rich wealthy village head for all decision. Pratab Singh is a mid aged village head. He is always known for his ferocious actions. It is difficult to meet Pratab Singh .However, one of this intimates informs Vargeshs father Pratab singh goes for hunting every Sunday Hence, Vargesh father can meet him while he is on his way to hunting. Villagers are quiet fearful of Pratab Singh. Many do not like him as he used to neglect the poorer class of village. Other day, he killed one poor villager while hunting. It seems, it is mistaken shot. Vargesh father meets Pratab informs him that his son wants to join the force. Pratab says that he is glad to know Vargesh wants to join the force. On his way, Keshav and Vargesh hugs each other and cry lots. After all, they have been very close friends since childhood. Vargesh is well trained in his work. He is well paid man and his family is happy. Vargesh got married recently. His wife name is Priyanka. In every alternate six months Vargesh visits his village . He brings lots of goodies for friends and his family. Vargesh was quiet happy knowing that Priyanka is pregnant. The joy of becoming father finds no limit. Over couple of years, things had changed in Kashiganj.The divide between poor and rich had widen. Villagers are annoyed .They speak openly about their displeasure. The young boys are diverted. Many of them adopted forceful means to acquire their rights. Keshav is one of the people who joined such group after deprivation of their rights. The authorities had been quiet cautious. There had been force deployed in the region to tackle the law and order. Many of them are in constant touch with the village heads to know the situations in the region. It was mid night, when Vargesh father reaches Keshav house. Vargesh father informs Keshav that priyanka has to be taken to hospital located in town. They must do it in hurry. She is having high pregnancy pain. Keshav his friends manages a cart to take priyanka to hospital .
Pratab singh is troubled man. He is already tired of rebelled villagers seeking their right against deprivation. He informs the authorities that there are bunch of people travelling towards town in midnight. The authorities appoint the force to catch the people in which Vargesh is a member. Vargesh father is feared man, he looks at Priyanka and prays God to forbid the difficult times. The shout of Priyanka goes louder every now and then. Keshav sitting next to him encourages her and asks her to keep patience. The force takes in position to catch them, the men behind the cart pushing it forward is brutally hurt by the armed force by this effort. Once they come closer they realize, there is lady in cart. In everybodys surprise Vargesh informs his colleagues that it is his wife. Vargesh brings his wife to hospital. Priyanka delivers a baby child. Vargesh thanks Keshav and says sorry for hurting the persons behind the cart. The village head is now changed; there is new rule of law and flourishing democratic set up. There are newer opportunities and new food distribution system. It makes the world better for kashiganj villagers.
