The target audience for Keanan Walker's media product is modern youth ages 15-19, specifically males. The film involves school events, bad language, fight scenes, and criminal behavior portrayed by gangster characters, making it most suitable for male viewers aged 16 and older. The instrumental music chosen also relates to the garage/gangster genre. The language used by characters and scenes depicted necessitate an older teenage male audience.

Who would be the audience for your media
1. Who would be the audience for
your media product?
Keanan Walker
2. Potential audience
• My potential audience in my film will be towards the modern youth. I want
my audience to be set around people at the age of 15-19 because it
involves school events and bad language so it would be suitable for people
between them ages. It would be directed at the male audience because
the film doesn’t involve any sort of scenes in what will relate to any girl
watching. The film is based over a boy seeing a girl behind a gang members
back and this relates to modern day youth.
3. Music
• Another thing I would consider in my target audience is the music I picked
for my final product. The music I picked for my film is a instrumental
produced Nash beats. This type of instrumental is a garage type and it
relates to our film because of the class of the characters are portrayed as
gangsters.
4. My audience
• My actual audience in my film will be for males over the age of 16 because
of the use of bad language , fight scenes and criminal ways. For this case
the gang leader ‘Temi’ used a certain type of language when he addresses
‘Nash’ in the final scene. Also the POV shot of when the character ‘Nash’ is
looking around at all the gang members we hear a couple rude realistic
messages come across what involves more bad language.
