Why is it an issue?
Clogging in Aeroponics
Aeroponic systems require a sprayer or
a mister in order to deliver the nutrient
solution.
Most of these are diaphragm-based,
or have a very, very small nozzle.
Ultimately, this means things
clog up very easily.
When they clog up, the
plants don’t get the water
and nutrients they need.
Without water, the roots can dry
up and die very quickly.
Any aeroponic grower will tell you lots
of time is spent cleaning nozzles
because of this.
Labor can be spent in 1 of 3 ways
1 - Cleaning nozzles
2 - Replacing Nozzles
3 - Intensive filtration
In any case, clogging is a
problem to be aware of and
manage properly.
