Why is clogging an issue in aeroponics?

- 2. Aeroponic systems require a sprayer or a mister in order to deliver the nutrient solution.
- 3. Most of these are diaphragm-based, or have a very, very small nozzle.
- 4. Ultimately, this means things clog up very easily.
- 5. When they clog up, the plants don’t get the water and nutrients they need.
- 6. Without water, the roots can dry up and die very quickly.
- 7. Any aeroponic grower will tell you lots of time is spent cleaning nozzles because of this.
