I started out as supervisor of the Lumber/ Building Materials Department and then transferred into supervisor of the Hardware Department. I am currently a Key Carrying supervisor that makes me also responsible for being solely in charge of the store at times. Several times a week I am the closing manager, and as a Freight supervisor I am also responsible for all incoming freight to be sorted and stocked in the correct locations of the store. I am also certified to train and certify associates to run the sit-down forklifts, order picker, reach truck, pacer unit, electric ladders, electric pallet jack, and other pieces of equipment in the store. Yard Manager Meeks Lumber & Hardware - Carson City, NV - May 2000 to January 2008 I was a Yard Manager responsible for 14 employees and truck drivers. I did the scheduling of employees and dispatching of truck deliveries along with the ordering of most product of the Lumber Yard.
