1. The layout of the website for the Wireless tickets is very
eye-catching and appealing to the audience. However,
its just a colour scheme right? Anyone could be attracted
to these colours. So maybe this doesn't quite tell us who
out main target audience may be.
3. What artists were performing?
At the festival, there were many popular artists performing such as:
Big Sean, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, Iggy Azalea, Will.I.Am, Macklemore
& so many more.
These artists are very popular in the music industry and many young
teenagers listen to them. I think the festival was aimed at teenagers
because of the music being performed which most of them seemed
to be singing along to happily. I wouldnt necessarily expect a family
with young children coming to watch Wireless where theres alcohol,
swearing and dancing in a confined space. Most teenagers however
enjoy this type of environments and this is why I think Wireless is
aimed at teenagers.
4. Advertisment
The wireless festival was
advertised on many
different sites and other
media. On popular radio
stations like Choice.fm and
KISS. Also, on youth
friendly social networking
sites like Twitter and
Facebook. These are sites
that young people tend to
go on the most so the
majority of them would
find out about the festival.
Sites like
Instagram
and twitter
have a
majority of
teenage
users. So this
was a great
way to appeal
to the target
audience.
