According to a 2013 survey and experts Duncan, Riley, Einarsen and Zapf, workplace bullying is a significant problem, affecting over 20% of employees. Most employers do not provide anti-bullying training to help employees recognize the five main types of bullying: work-related bullying, personal attacks, social isolation, verbal threats, and spreading of rumors. Certain industries like health, education, and government have even higher rates of bullying, ranging from 25-97% of employees.
