Work life balance
Where should I start from?
Work life balance
In the 21st century, life and work are
conducted in a dynamic context
that includes:
?

?

?

?

A global society facing complex
political, economic, technological,
Living in a developed
and environmental challenges
AWorld, economy driven by
service we are facing
information, knowledge, and
challenges like never
innovation
before.
Diverse communities and
workplaces that rely on crosscultural collaborative relationships
and virtual social networks
An intensely competitive and
constantly changing worldwide
marketplace
And the development and
improvement of technology has
greatly improved our lives. It has led

to a far better, easier and very comfortable
life for the people:
?
?
?
?
?

Communication and information
travels faster and faster.
The world seems smaller and smaller.
Cell phones have made it easy to
work from anywhere.
Each person have access to waste
amount useful information.
And we are getting more and more
engaged!
As the pace of our life is
getting faster, we face new
kind of conflicts:

? Stress factors are rising.
? We have to do more, in less time.
? Boundaries between our work life and
personal life isn¡¯t clear any more.
? And we naturally assume that we
have to work harder in order to reach
the expectations!

And it¡¯s the same for men
and women in lots of ways.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to work hard;
But working hard and not paying attention to your own basic needs, can push
you to the point of burning-out!
Always Remember:

No matter how hard you work, it's important to find a healthy
balance between your work life and personal life.
- Simply because There
are to much things, one
self desires to do!
Let's first define what work-life balance is not;

? Work-Life Balance does not mean an
equal balance. Trying to schedule an equal

number of hours for each of your various work
and personal activities is usually unrewarding
and unrealistic.
? Your best individual work-life balance will vary
over time, often on a daily basis. The right
balance for you today will probably be
different for you tomorrow.
? There is no perfect, one-size fits all, balance you
should be striving for. The best work-life balance
is different for each of us because we all have
different priorities and different lives.
Many people try to find "Work life balance" with better time
management. In order to have the skills that allow for this balance,
one needs to understand how they want to spend their time.

However, atnow,

The Greatest

Challenge Is This:

¡°We Only Live Once! And for a limited time only.¡±
Each activity takes a part of your time. It means
that, you can not allocate that time to do any
other tasks¡
So you have to;

? Make a list of all the things
you want to do with that
time, and things you
prefer not to do with it.
? Prioritize through this list.
? And carefully prepare a
plan of action to get the
most out of it.
Start with knowing your self better;
? Who are you?
? What you care about in life?
? What is your core beliefs and
Where they came from?
? What¡¯s your basic needs?
? What is the thing that you are
most passionate about?
? What is the basic needs of your
human body and soul?

The key to success of your plan is;
How is it that one person will

sacrifice his own life for another,
while another will murder a stranger
for sheer pleasure?
What is the force that drives and
shapes all of our emotions, actions,
qualities of life, and ultimately, our
destinies?
While each human being is unique,
we also share nervous systems that
function in the same way.
There are also six fundamental
needs that everyone has in
common, and all behavior is simply
an attempt to meet those six needs.

This drive is Human Needs
The Six encoded in our nervous
system. The means by which people
meet these six human needs are
unlimited.
For Example:

?
?
?
?

?
?

1. Certainty: assurance you can
avoid pain and gain pleasure
2. Uncertainty/Variety: the need for
the unknown, change, new stimuli
3. Significance: feeling unique,
important, special or needed
4. Connection/Love: a strong feeling
of closeness or union with someone
or something
5. Growth: an expansion of capacity,
capability or understanding
6. Contribution: a sense of service
and focus on helping, giving to and
supporting others
- Desire for certainty, that
we can avoid pain and
gain pleasure (i.e. comfort).

Some people pursue this need by striving to
control all aspects of their lives.

Others obtain certainty by giving up control
and adopting a philosophy of faith.

Variety makes us feel alive and engaged.
- Desire for significance,
a belief that one¡¯s life
has meaning and
importance.
Some individuals will pursue this need by
competing with others, or by destroying and
tearing down those around them.

Others may strive to fulfill this need through
connection with other human beings.

The force of life is the drive for fulfillment; we all
have a need to experience a life of meaning.
Fulfillment can only be
achieved through a pattern of
living in which we focus on two
spiritual needs:
1) the need to continuously
grow; and
2) the need to contribute
beyond ourselves in a
meaningful way.
All dysfunctional behaviors arise
from the inability to consistently
meet these needs. When our
attempts to reach fulfillment fail,
we will settle for comfort, or for
meeting our needs on a small
scale.
Understanding these needs, and
which ones you are trying to
meet in any given moment, can
help you create new patterns
that lead to lasting fulfillment.
"You know, we just want to achieve
something today and we want to enjoy
something today. And if we do both of
those things today, we¡¯re going to have a
pretty good day. And if we do both of those
things every day, for the rest of our lives¡
we¡¯re going to have a pretty good life.¡°

You need to be prepared for this continuous progress!
Life is like riding a bicycle, To keep your balance you must keep moving.
- Albert Einstein
Your Basic Needs;
You need specific amount of nutrition, sleep and physical
activities, to keep you body operating, and delivering the
tasks you expect from it.

your
life. There is a specific diet that each blood type need to
