for years scientist believed that the
moon was larger than the sun
But God had said in His word more
that 3500 years ago
That the sun is bigger than the
moon
In Genesis 1 : 16

For years people believed that rocks
don’t burn
Buildings made of bricks don’t burn .
When preachers would talk about
the second coming of Christ . They
would be laughed at and told they
have lost your their minds up and
until the explosion of Atomic bombs
of Hiroshima – Nagasaki – Japan

We can have confidence in
the bible
The word of God has proven
to be dependable
When God says something
you can count on it

When a man says he will do
something . It is not his word that
has power to accomplish what the
man has said. Iit is altogether
dependent upon the man himself to
accomplish it apart from his word.
It is not his word that does it
It is he himself that must do it
Such is the word of men.

It is not so with the word of God.
When the word is spoken by the
Lord,
there is at that moment in that word
the living power to accomplish what
the word expresses.
It is not needed that the Lord employ
any shadow of any other means than
that word itself to accomplish what
the word says.
Psalm 33:6,9

There is in the word of God
creative power, to do all that the
word expressed
The word of God in the Bible is
the same,
precisely the same, as that word
that made the heavens and all
the host of them.

This is the same word that has
creative power to change lives
germinative power to accomplish
what it says . This is the same word
that has power to heal the sick and
set the soul free
power to give hope in times of
despair

This is the power of the word
of God to the man who
receives it
The word of God is powerful
to do that which it says

700 years before Christ
was born a message
came that He will be
born in Bethlehem-
Ephratah

The word of God had gone out
Not just Bethlehem , but
Bethlehem – Ephratah. It’s like
mentioning the City and the
street where the event will take
place

The distance between Nazareth and
Bethlehem is 158km
And then God choses a virgin from
Nazareth
Mary gets pregnant , she is in
Nazareth
The 1st month , she is still in
Nazareth
The 2nd month, the 3rd , 4th , 5th , 6th ,
7th , 8th month she is still in Nazareth
The 9th Month she is still in Nazareth
It’s either she delivers in Bethlehem
oh the bible is a lie

What would make a 9 month
pregnant lady to travel 158 km on a
donkey ?
It has to be something forceful ?
We are told in Luke 2 : 1 a decree
was given by Caesar Augustus for
everyone to be taxed

And Joseph and Mary started their
journey when Mary was 9 month
pregnant
They traveled 158 km to Bethlehem
on a donkey
The baby is due any day
It’s either she delivers in Bethlehem
– Ephratah or the bible is a lie

And Christ was born
in a manger in
Bethlehem -
Ephratah

In the book of Ezekiel 26 : 4, 5
there is a city mentioned called
Tyrus
This was a trade center
It was the Amsterdam or the
New York of today, a great city
But also a wicked city
And the bible had said it would
be destroyed and be in the midst
of the sea

When people heard this they laughed
They had forgotten the sure word of
God
But it wasn’t too long after this that
laughter stopped
Babylonian king by the name of
Nebuchadnezzar attacked the city of
Tyrus

He destroyed the city of Tyrus and
left it not fit to live in
Totally ruined it, that the people
who remained moved away
And the left the city
But it wasn’t is the sea as the bible
had said

For 100 years, it wasn’t in the sea
For 200 years , it wasn’t in the sea
But for 250 years after
Nebuchadnezzar came Alexander
the great
And he went conquering and to
conquer

And when he came to Tyrus , which was
in ruins
He looked out and saw an island
Where those who escaped from Tyrus
lived there
And they had built a wall and built a city
and that’s where thy lived
And Alexander commanded his soldiers
to build him a road to that Island

And to build that road they went
back to the city which was in ruin
And they took the stones and the
remains and dumped them in the
sea
And when they were done ,,,after
250 years , Tyrus was not only
destroyed
It was in Mediterranean sea

We can have confidence in the
word of God
The word God is powerful to do
that which it says
This is the same word of God that
created the heaven and earth
This is the word of God that says
Jeremiah 29 : 11

And He has a plan for
each and everyone of us

There is someone who cares
When you just cant believe
though you doubt the things you
receive
Your troubled soul He will relieve
That someone who cares is Jesus

When uncertainties overshadows you
When fears haunt your life
That someone who cares is Jesus

His word will never fail
That someone who cares is
Jesus
I would like to encourage you to
believe the word of God
