What is Blogging
A blog (a contraction of the words web log) is a discussion or informational
site published on the World Wide Web and consisting of discrete entries
("posts") typically displayed in reverse chronological order (the most recent
post appears first).
Until 2009 blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a
small group, and often covered a single subject. More recently "multi-author
blogs" (MABs) have developed, with posts written by large numbers of
authors and professionally edited. MABs from newspapers, other media
outlets, universities, think tanks, interest groups and similar institutions
account for an increasing quantity of blog traffic.

What is a CMS
A Content Management System (CMS) is a computer program that allows
publishing, editing and modifying content as well as maintenance from a
central interface. Such systems of content management provide procedures
to manage workflow in a collaborative environment. These procedures can be
manual steps or an automated cascade. CMSs have been available since the
late 1990s.
CMSs are often used to run websites containing blogs, news, and shopping.
Many corporate and marketing websites use CMSs. CMSs typically aim to
avoid the need for hand coding, but may support it for specific elements or
entire pages.

Add Blog posts using a WYSIWYG Editor, a toggle button helps you show/hide editor options.
Categories help group your posts, but if you want a more specific grouping, without making your category list really long, you can use keywords. For e.g. Sports or Cricket, Tennis could be categories, and Tendulkar, Leander Pais etc. can be tags.
