The WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) program is an independent organization that certifies facilities on their compliance with social and environmental standards. It was founded in 2000 and has over 1,700 certified facilities in over 60 countries. The WRAP certification process involves facilities demonstrating continuous compliance with 12 principles covering issues like forced labor, child labor, compensation, and the environment. Facilities can receive an A, B, or C level certification depending on their compliance history and audit results. Bureau Veritas is an accredited independent monitor that performs on-site audits and makes certification recommendations to WRAP.
