The dreaded P Word: What is plagiarism?  If you quote more then two consecutive words from someone else, summarize a passage or use someone elses ideas (OWL at Purdue) How do we avoid it? Give credit to the source of information!
How do I do Parenthetical Citation? For a book -  Put the authors name and page info was found on it parenthesis after the quote.  One Researcher has found that dreams move backward in time as the night progresses (Dement 71). If you mention the author in the sentence then only the page number needs to be place in parenthesis Freud states that a dream is a fulfillment of a wish (154). Website  Place the name of the webpage in parenthesis  Don't forget Senior quotes are due at the end of November.  (Segerstrom High School)

Find information at bottom of webpage or on the books Title Page Book Citations: Author/Editor Last Name, First Name M.  Book Title . City Published: Publisher, Year Published. Print. 3+ authors First Authors Lastname, Firstname,  et al.   Title of the Book.  Place of Publication: Publisher, Year of Published. Print.
