 The Taj Mahal is a whitr marble mousoleum located
in Agar Uttar pradesh, India.
 It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory
of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal
 The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as "the jewel of
Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired
masterpieces of the world's heritage".
 Taj Mahal is regarded by many as the finest example
of Mughal architecture a style that combines elements
from Islamic Persian Ottoman Turkish and Indian
architectural styles.

 The Victoria Memorial (Victoria Memorial Hall) is a
large marble building in Kolkata
 The Victoria Memorial, is a memorial building dedicated
to Victoria, Empress of India, which is located in Kolkata.
 The memorial was designed by Sir William Emerson using
Indo-Saracen style
 The massive hall is 338 feet, by 228 feet, and rises to a
height of 184 feet.
 The massive Victoria Memorial stands enclosed within 64
acres (260,000 m2) of blooming gardens.
 It houses a museum containing a large collection of
memorabilia relating to Queen Victoria and the British
presence in India as well as other exhibits.

 The Charminar, built in 1591 CE, is a monument
and mosque located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
 The landmark has become a global icon of
Hyderabad, listed among the most recognized
structures of India. The Charminar is situated on the
east bank of Musi river.
 Qutb shah constructed the charminar in the year
1589
 Charminar has the style of Islamic architecture
 Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the fifth ruler
of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.

Sanchi Stupa

 The 'Great Stupa' at Sanchi is the oldest stone
structure in India and was originally commissioned
by the emperor Ashoka the Great in the 3rd century
BCE.
 The Sanchi Stupa is located at Sanchi Town
in state of Madhya Pradesh, India
 UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization) has included them as
one of the heritage sites of the world.
 one of the important places of Buddhist pilgrimage.

Qutab Minar

 Qutab Minar, is the tallest minar in India..
 UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in Delhi, the
Qutub Minar is made of red sandstone and marble
 Construction was started in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak
and was completed by Iltutmish
 Qutab Minar with a height of 72.5m (239ft), is the
highest stone tower in India
 Designed according to the Indo-Mughal architecture
 It is situated in the Qutub complex at Mehrauli in South
Delhi.

The Gateway of India

 It is located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder
area in South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian Sea
 The Gateway has also been referred to as the Taj
Mahal of Mumbai
 Built in Indo-Saracenic style.
 Its design is a combination of Hindu and Muslim
architectural styles; the arch is of Muslim style while
the decorations are of Hindu style
