THE INSIGHT Carpooling is fun, but it can be a pain to organise. So how can we make it easier to catch a ride with friends?
WHAT IF YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK COULD BECOME YOUR TRANSPORT NETWORK?
Introducing... FACEBOOK CARPOOL NETWORK.
THE IDEA: By installing the Carpool Network Facebook plugin, users could input regular routes they drive and see who on their Facebook friends list is in a similar area and takes similar routes.
THE IDEA: From here they can... Send a carpool request Name their routes STOP Create stops Create a regular timetable, making it easier for groups to organise carpooling The ALAN Express Arrives in 5 Minutes Get reminders when their friends are coming through their area
AND BE YOUR OWN CARPOOL CONDUCTOR All aboard!
When a Carpool Conductor picks up a friend, a request is sent to check in.
By doing this the Carpool conductor IS REWARDED AND receives Facebook Credits....
which they can use to access movies, live concerts, dozens of games and more.
The Facebook Carpool Network would allow people to easily reach out and turn their Facebook friends into Carpool friends... taking traffic off the road and reducing congestion. Hooray!
