Randy Pausch was an American professor of computer science who was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer in 2007. He was given 3 to 6 months to live. Before his death, he delivered "The Last Lecture" at Carnegie Mellon University, where he taught, sharing life lessons on achieving childhood dreams. The lecture became hugely popular after being posted online and was later made into a best-selling book called "The Last Lecture" that Pausch authored before passing away from cancer in 2008.
