The National LCMS Youth Gathering will provide youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of Gods people to: be affirmed in their lives as God's people nurture their relationship with others in the church

Important Dates: September 10, 2012 Gathering registration data may start to be entered via the Gathering website October 16 - 30, 2012 Priority window for Gathering registration
Important Dates: January 2013 Registration confirmation for groups accepted to the Gathering. Early Spring 2013 Primary Adult Leaders receive Gathering hotel information Early April 2013
Important Dates: May 1, 2013 Full payment due to qualify for express registration onsite at the Gathering. Remaining payments can be made on-site in San Antonio. Registration Fee: $295 through March 1, 2013 $345 following March 1, 2013 This fee covers all Gathering program and Youth Ministry Office administrative costs; participant items such as the Gathering
GATHERING AGE REQUIREMENT * At least 14 years old at time of Gathering (or) * Entering freshman year of high school * Will have NOT turned 21 by the Gathering 2013 YOUTH to ADULT RATIO 2-6 Youth = 2-4 Adults 7-13 Youth = 3-5 Adults 14-20 Youth = 4-6 Adults 21-27 Youth = 5-7 Adults More = See Web Site
HOW DO YOU CHOOSE PALs & ALs * Will any warm body over 21 do? * Training Expectations Is everyone on the same page? The ROLE of the PAL/AL before, during & after * Chaperone verses Shepherd ~ Must be 21 ~ Submits a Personal Information Form ~ Approved by who ~ Cost responsibility No MATTER how great the program may be, the success or failure of the NYG is largely dependent on the qualities displayed by the individual youth group Leadership Teams

ALL groups must stay in a Gathering Hotel!!! Planning information -Up to $149.00/night + tax/night. -Double 4 people per room -King 2 people per room -Suite properties do not guarantee more than 4 people per room per double room and 2 persons per king room -ALL HOTELS HAVE POOLS!!
